It is Paros ' capital. It is a lovely town, with whitewashed houses and a maze of narrow streets.
Livadia is the beach in town. Agios Fokas and Krios are beautiful sandy beaches accessed by boats which run frequently from morning till late.

It is situated on the north side of the island and (11 km from Paroikia) and it has one of the most picturesque harbours in Cyclades. It is a lovely fishing village with tiny streets, beautiful churches -Panagia Pantanassa, Ag. Ioannis. There are plenty of beaches in the area, including the famous Kolymbithres and Agioi Anargyroi beach.
